National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Services

The National Environmental Policy Act, commonly referred as NEPA, directs federal agencies to consider the effects of their actions on the environment and to allow the public to participate in decisions before committing significant federal resources. All institutions receiving federal funding must comply with NEPA. Examples of projects that must comply with NEPA include: the construction, improvement, or widening of highways, the Licensing of telecommunications facilities, and the construction of federal facilities. The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) services that Spring Environmental offers are diverse. These services include: the preparation of NEPA Categorical Exclusions (CATEXs), and Hazardous Materials Site Assessments, as well as the preparation of NEPA Checklist Reports for telecommunication facilities. Spring Environmental is currently registered as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the Texas Department of Transportation and is precertified in several of the NEPA categories.
